HOW SOD INSTALLATION FIXES YARD DRAINAGE ISSUES

New sod is installed with a gentle grade that directs water away from your home and low spots. Dips and bowls are rectified prior to install.
We prepare the base with quality topsoil and amendments that promote better water infiltration and reduce pooling.
Healthy sod develops strong roots that absorb excess surface water and prevent erosion.
These areas often cause standing water; sod installation levels them out permanently as we lay top soil and level it to grade.
Good sod with proper subsoil provides a root zone that can absorb and hold 15–25 mm of water before runoff occurs.
Since 1 mm of water depth over 1 m² equals 1 litre, this means your new lawn can effectively absorb 15–25 litres of water per square metre.
In contrast, compacted or poorly graded yards often absorb far less (sometimes under 5–10 litres/m²) before water pools.
